Nothing so Revolutionary Part I
Wake up and look out a window. Wake up and look up at someone hovering over you. Time to go to jail again. Well, at least tonight, I will stay warm – if they let me stay the night that is. Wake up and wonder what to do today. Wake up and determine how to survive another day. What’s happening in the world of Facebook today? What are people throwing away today? These shoes really don’t match this outfit. I may go to the mall during lunch and get a new pair and maybe a few other outfits. I have so many clothes though. I could get rid of some. These shoes aren’t any good anymore. The holes are too big now and my feet are soaked and cold. I think one of my toes is getting infected. I wish I could wash my clothes. “Yes, can I have a vente Flat White please?” “You have any change to spare please?”
“Uggh! Why do I have to get up to go to school? It’s not like I am learning anything.” “I wish I could go to school. I would love to learn something.” “What do you mean you are out of cheese Danish! This always happens! You really need to do a better job of having these things in stock!” I could already tell they were going to run out of food and sure enough, just as it was about to be my turn … “Sorry, we just ran out.” What are we going to do with all this extra food? Just throw it away. We can’t serve it again.
Take a moment. If you look, you’re sure going to find. Man-kind.
